Silver Notes School of Music is aiming at growing more each year and to help make it successful we are always looking for motivated, passionate people that want to help read the joy and knowledge of music within our community.

We are currently looking for a Drum teacher as our previous teacher recently left Broken Hill to continue her education.

To be successful in applying for this role you must be available on Thursdays from approximately 3pm till 8pm (times may vary) and a possible Saturday afternoon. Have Technical requirements and foundations of music theory. If you are interested but wish to discuss this further please contact us via email today.


If you are someone who appreciates music and loves to work with children but you may not play an instrument perfectly or maybe not at all then there are still options for you. In late 2019 we introduced a new program to silver Notes called Kinder Beat ( you will be able to find more details about the classes and programs on this website) this is a structured class for children from the age of 2yrs, and are taught in the mornings. To be a suitable applicant you must demonstrate the ability to sing on pitch, relate well to young children and their parents, follow a lesson plan, improvise teaching methods and a love and appreciation of music in children. (Some basic keyboard skills may be needed but not necessary)

Hours would be from 1 to to 10 hours a week ( depending on student enrolment) Training would also be needed to become a teacher for kinder beat.
