The Violin is a very over looked instrument but with the right amount of effort in teaching and practicing it can also be one of the most enjoyable and beautiful sounding instruments.
At Silver Notes School of Music Miss Xanthe offers a range of different courses to suit each individual student including the Encore on Strings Series for ages 4 and up.
The method that Miss Xanthe has adapted over her years of teaching becomes very achievable and enjoyable for young student and family members, at home practice becomes a fun daily activity rather than a task while they play along with a CD and gradually develop the techniques to make them a great Violinist.
As each child/student progresses a diverse range of course become available to suit each student and as they develop they will learn basic & advanced techniques, music notation, music theory, fiddle zips, repertoire playing, ensemble playing, scales and exercises, sight reading, improvisation, broad range of styles, tuning, by ear playing, aural and much much more.
Violin classes are offered in small groups for young students (when available) and private one on one classes for all ages.
